Astrophotography
Astrophotography is a specialized field of photography that involves capturing images of celestial objects and phenomena in the night sky, such as stars, planets, galaxies, and nebulae. This technique requires long exposure times, often several seconds to minutes, to gather enough light from distant and dim astronomical subjects. To achieve sharp and detailed images, photographers typically use a tripod-mounted camera, a remote shutter release, and often a tracking mount that compensates for the Earth's rotation. Advanced astrophotography may also involve stacking multiple images to reduce noise and enhance clarity, as well as post-processing techniques to bring out faint details and colors that are not visible to the naked eye.
